Hello! My name is Pinkish, and I'm currently a first year computer science student at a Canadian university.
One of my first classes at the post-secondary level was an introductory ethics class in the computer science department. I was already interested in much of the course content, but the course sparked an active interest in keeping up with what's going on in the industry. This blog is a passion project for me to write about my thoughts and opinions about ethical issues in computer science.
The main focus is digital privacy and security; whether that be my personal journey, or general news/controversy. I might also write about other areas of computer science, like Artificial Intelligence or Cryptocurreny, if I have an interesting enough idea to write about. Heck, maybe I'll write the odd one-off on a random subject like music or video games!
